Amy was a huge help in our relocation from out of state! From the outset, she worked with us to determine our parameters and provided us with links to homes that fell within the scope of our search. When we visited the area for one week to tour homes, she immediately zeroed us in on the types of communities we were interested in and, during a marathon home touring session, she listened carefully to our thoughts and comments. My family first met John in 2010 when we bought our first house in Richmond, VA. We immediately knew that he was the right realtor for us. He listened not just with his mind, but with his heart as well. We cultivated a strong relationship with him very quickly. Six years later, he helped us re-sell the house he originally helped us find. We moved out of state until 2018. Upon returning to Richmond, he helped my Mom find a nice townhouse in 2019. When I became disabled and my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time, we moved into the townhouse with my Mom. But, there were 5 of us (Me, Mom, my wife and our two boys and 2 cats). By 2024 we were feeling cramped - my older son slept in the living room, my younger son shared a room with my wife and I and Mom worked from home and had her office in her bedroom. We needed a bigger house. Once again, we called John. He immediately set us up with a specific search engine tailored to what we were looking for and we looked at a bunch of places, but needed something in the same school district for our younger son. My Mom and I found a place, brand new construction, 3 bedroom, loft, 2 and a half bath and big enough for all of us to have the space we needed. John helped facilitate the sale of our old townhouse and found buyers in only 48 hours of the house being on the market. He negotiated a contract to let us live there until construction on our new house was completed. After 15 years, we consider John to be family. He's always been there when we needed him. He's always looked out for our best interests and he's one of the best realtors in Richmond. Kind, considerate, compassionate and always professional. Megan represented me as both the seller of my previous home and the buyer of my new construction....and she was also the listing agent for that new build. That’s a unique situation, and not once did I feel like she didn’t have my best interests at heart. In fact, I felt completely confident following her lead the entire way, which honestly says everything. This wasn’t a cookie-cutter transaction. There were shifting timelines, inspection surprises, and plenty of moments where things could’ve gone sideways. But Megan never flinched. My family was incredibly fortunate to work with Megan. We needed to sell our home quickly because of a new job opportunity out of state. The broker we were working with in NY vetted her and sent her our way and I know we couldn't have pulled this off without her. In order for our timeline to work we had two months to refresh the property, sell the property and close.
